The ‘dance’ of the Whirling Dervishes is called Sema and is a part of the inspiration of Mevlana and has become part of Turkish custom, history, beliefs and culture.

Whirling Dervish
Sema represents a mystical journey of man’s spiritual ascent through mind and love to “Perfect”. Whirling towards the truth, his growth, through love, deserts his ego, finds the truth and arrive to the “Perfect”. He returns from this spiritual journey as a man who reached maturity and greater perfection, so as to love and to be of service to the whole of creation, to all creatures without discrimination of believes, races, classes and nations.

Культурный центр Ходжапаша (Hodjapasha). Он находится в историческом центре Султанахмет. Можно сесть на трамвай T1 и выйти на остановке т1 sirkeci. Этот трамвай проезжает все самые туристические места города. В культурном центре приобщиться к традициям дервишей можно ежедневно.

Железнодорожный вокзал под названием Сиркеджи (Sirkeci garı). Да, представление дервишей можно встретить прямо в здании вокзала. Там отличная акустика, и шоу проводится каждый день. Также, лучше иметь в виду ограничения, связанные с пандемией, поэтому лучше заранее уточнить всю информацию.

Музей Галата Мевлевиханеси (Mevlevihanesi Müzesi). Ещё можно услышать название Галата Мевлеви. Раньше здесь был суфийский монастырь, так что это место кажется идеальным для того, чтобы увидеть знаменитую церемонию. Считается, что здесь её проводят максимально близко к традиции. Мероприятия проводятся только по воскресеньям. Музей находится недалеко от Галатской башни в районе Бейоглу.
